At Microsoft their mission and values are to help people and businesses throughout the world realize their full potential. Just as they constantly update and improve our products, they want to continually evolve their company to be in the best position to accelerate new technologies as they emerge and to better serve our customers. My role with the Microsoft brand is to use the Microsoft visual identity system and creative best in class digital content for their business groups and brands. At Gage, I lead the creative direction of the Microsoft team as the accounts group creative director.

Microsoft ExpertZone provides Microsoft Retail Service Professionals (RSPs) with everything they need to thrive as a retailer of Microsoft products. Microsoft ExpertZone also offers product training, peer groups, rewards, plus insider information about Microsoft Windows, Windows Phone, Office, Office for Mac, Xbox, Xbox Live and Microsoft Hardware.

While at Gage, my role was to manage the creative branding and interpret the Microsoft visual identity system. Evolving the EZ branding to coincide with the Window UX Design style,  my team redesigned and rearchitected the experience adding clear ‘Metro’ concepts including gamification.

To support the desktop version of the program, my team developed a mobile companion to complement the RSP on the go and extend the program to all of the main phone operating systems.

Social media and community experiences are  major portion of the overall EZ experience.

SmartHQ is the central location and program headquarters for the consolidated Microsoft reseller world based in Australia. It combines Sales, Marketing And Reseller Training with incentives and rewards – and everything a reseller needs – in an intelligent, engaging way. It establishes the overarching brand identity and allows for unlimited sub-brand names to live under it.

Developed as a responsive and responsible designed website, SmartHQ supports the re-seller were ever they are. Sweepstakes, lifecycle communications, special promotions and offers are all part of the creative I developed with my team.

Trade shows and special Microsoft events are a major recruiting opportunity and my team developed rapid mobile sign-ups along with tradeshow materials.

Gear Up is a portal for the latest sales and marketing information about Microsoft products. They offer Training and rewards based on activity. Gear Up was an established brand that needed to have the learning and earn portion of the experience developed. Working with the client  my creative showcased the colorful new approach that Microsoft has towards it’s brand. Lifecycle messaging and loyalty program communications were all a part of this experience.
