Corbis Corporation is a company based in Seattle, Washington that licenses the rights to photographs, footage and other visual media. It has a collection of more than 100 million images and 800,000 video clips.

Art Director/ Photographer

Studied marketplace needs and worked with other photographers\editors to create the best competitive royalty-free stock media for this web based company.  Researched content and developed photographic solutions for client requests including both royalty-free and rights manages imagery.

 

Senior Image Processor

In imaging science, image processing is any form of signal processing for which the input is an image, such as a photograph or video frame; the output of image processing may be either an image or a set of characteristics or parameters related to the image. My role specifically was working with high-end digital files including; scanning, retouching, color correction, archiving, and restoration for this internet based image collection.  Created pre-press color management profiles for large format printing. Collections of images were produced into CD’s and sold individually online.
