Home Grocer

 

HomeGrocer built and operated the first fully integrated Internet grocery operation. Unlike previous start-ups, HomeGrocer did not operate out of existing supermarkets, but instead built dedicated warehouse facilities where inventory was stored, orders picked and deliveries made using customized trucks.

At Home Grocer I worked as a corporate photographer working on showcase images for the website. Not only did i shoot and design the key image placements I also shot several video series with guest chefs for ‘steaming’ in the internet.

This work also included product photography to fill it’s virtual shelves.  I used Canon devices and then imported images and video to adobe products where the objects were pathed and process to be saved out into various formats for the website. Home Grocer was my gateway potion to working at Amazon.com.
